Hunter Normand, the copywriter, lookin' sharp as always.

Howdy. I’m Hunter. Friends call me Red.

Every successful team needs a glue guy. Kevin Millar. Phil Hartman. Ringo Starr. Someone who keeps the wheels greased, the friction at a minimum. Someone who does the dirty work, who shows up every day with a smile on their face. Up for anything, down for everything. Yeah, you know the type.

I like to think of myself as a glue guy. And the best part about glue guys is that they can mesh with just about any team. I’d love to join yours. Been itchin’ for some dirty work lately.

Let’s get after it.

Experience

  • Worked with incredibly gifted thinkers and designers to establish identities for purpose-led brands in various industries including: Liquor and Spirits, Professional Sports, Premium Performance Goods, Apparel, Hospitality/Recreation, Pet Wellness, Human Wellness, Medical Equipment, B2B Consulting, Real Estate.

  • Copywriter for the University of Oregon Women’s Basketball account. The Women's Basketball team had the highest home attendance in the Pac-12 and the fifth highest attendance in the nation during the 2021-2022 season.

We could take credit because of our killer ads, but perhaps they were just really good at basketball.

  • Worst gig I’ve ever had. By far. Ask me about my first day, but only after you’ve had lunch.

    Don’t wanna ruin your appetite.

Education

  • Brands have more influence in our society than any other individual or organization. In my time earning my Master’s, I learned how to build strong, compelling brands that act as catalysts for change, socially and environmentally.

  • Learned how to think, how to act and how to present myself. Most importantly, found my voice. Still growing, still sharpening, still learning. It never ends, does it?

  • To be honest, I’m not even sure I received my Associate’s. But I’m putting it on here because I had to work my ass off to get out of that place. From a kid who slacked off in high school, to graduating with my Master’s degree, I’m damn proud of my journey.
